Chelsea have sacked Antonio Conte according to multiple reports including Sky Sports Italy.

It is expected that Conte’s compatriot Maurizio Sarri will be taking over at Stamford Bridge soonest.

BREAKING: Sky in Italy: Antonio Conte no longer  head coach.

The west London club have been locked in talks with Napoli over a compensation package for Sarri since the end of the season, with the Serie A club initially demanding £7million despite already appointing Carlo Ancelotti as his successor.

After winning the Premier League in his first season, Conte could not get a top-four finish in the following season let alone retain the title.

Chelsea are believed to have dismissed Conte, as well as the remainder of his backroom staff.
