President-General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Nollywood and founder of the Igbo Film Forum (IFF), HRH Eze H U Chuma has reacted to the negative responses trailing President Muhammadu Buhari’s death threat to ballot box snatchers.

It was observed that most of the negative responses were coming from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The opposition party members like the national chairman of the party, Uche Secondus, Fani Kayode, Kola Ologbondiya had condemned the president’s statement, describing it as war against Nigerians.

In reaction to this, HRH Chuma asked why the opposition party is seeking to protect ballot box snatchers in the coming election.

It was also reported that the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu accused the PDP of perfecting plans to snatch ballot boxes and rig the elections.

Shehu said the PDP criticisms over Buhari’s statement have shown their intents, he added that no one has anything to fear from the President’s comments if their conscience and intentions are clear.
