The British high commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright, on Monday, met with the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu over the upcoming 2019 general elections.

The meeting was centered on ways to ensure a credible, free, fair and peaceful election.

The Abuja British Commission disclosed this through its Twitter handle on Monday, October 15.

According to NAIJ.Com, they agreed that the security agencies should be nonpartisan to any political party during the election.

Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that the International communities have declared interest in the upcoming election, and had charged the government to ensure that the electoral process was conducted in a peaceful and credible manner.

They also urged the presidential candidates of the different political parties to accept the result of the election to avoid crisis as non adherence to this will constitute threat to the 2019 elections.
