The president noted that his administration has delivered on the three major campaign promises he made on economy, security and fight against corruption.
Speaking on security, Buhari said that the people of the FCT and North east can testify that the security situation is under control and has improved since he came into power.
He added that the security agencies are working hard to put a permanent end to the herdsmen and farmers crisis across the country.
Mr. Buhari said the Agriculture sector of Nigeria has improved immensely, adding that with the availability of fertilizers at affordable prices, the importation of rice in Nigeria had stopped by more than 90 per cent.
He further disclosed that the money realised through the revolution in agriculture was being used to provide critical infrastructures like roads, rail line and electricity.
He also reiterated that he will probe the $16 billion spent on power sector by former president Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration under the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, platform.
