Ahead of the January 19, 2019 presidential debate, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the United Kingdom has pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari not to honor the presidential debate organized by Nigeria Election Debate Group, NEDG and the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON).

This follows after the Vice Presidential debate was conducted for the five political parties selected by the group.

According to DAILY POST, the party urged President Buhari to consider a town hall session with the people rather than a debate in view of the outcome of last night’s debate among vice-presidential candidates.

According to the tweet;

It reads: “Dear President Muhammadu Buhari, we appeal to you NOT to attend the presidential debate in view of the lecturing witnessed tonight (Friday).

“Please, consider a townhall session. Despite the antics, Prof. Osinbajo tutored the opposition candidates on nation-building. Thank you.”
