Reno Omokri, former aide to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has reacted to the ongoing National Assembly ministerial screening of the nominees appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Omokri said what is going on at the Senate is not ministerial screening but ministerial toasting.

He added that it is an insult on Rubber stamps for the National Assembly led by Ahmed Lawan to be called a rubber stamp.

According to him, a rubber stamp leaves an impression but what the Senate leaves is a depression.

He stated this on Friday through his Twitter handle @renoomokri.

He tweeted; What is going on at the @NGRSenate is NOT ministerial SCREENING. It is ministerial TOASTING. It is an insult to RUBBER STAMPS to call the LAWAN led National Assembly a RUBBER STAMP. A RUBBER STAMP at least leaves an IMPRESSION. All this Senate leaves is a DEPRESSION.”
