Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has lambasted the present administration for claiming to fight corruption yet kept mute on the owner of the billions recovered from Ikoyi building in Lagos state.

Bruce through his Twitter handle tackled the government for covering up the crimes which is already obvious to all Nigerians, yet still claiming to be against corruption.

He said after three years no one knows the owner of the billions recovered from Ikoyi, how much the government spent on subsidy and who recalled, reinstated and also double promoted former chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pensions Reforms, Abdullahi Abdulrasheed Maina.

Recall that Maina fled the country because of the weight of evidence of wrongdoing found against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Mr. Maina, whose return to the country, surprising reinstatement to the civil service and promotion despite absconding from his duty post since 2013 have further sullied the image of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration, has continued to claim innocence from his hideout.

3 years after, we still don’t know who owns Ikoyi billions. More than a year later, the nation is kept in the dark on how much we spend on subsidy. One year after, we still don’t know who recalled, reinstated and double promoted Maina. Too many cover ups for an anti-corruption era!
