Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari is 76 years old today. The President was born on December 17, 1942 and is currently serving as the President of Nigeria since 2015. He ran for the office of President in 2003. 2007, and 2011 general elections but was unsuccessful. The president said this, while speaking briefly with newsmen at the State House on Monday in Abuja after a special parade organized by the Guards Brigade of the Nigerian Army to celebrate his 76th birthday.
“Nigerians should continue to pray for me and understand my intentions and give me time.”
Buhari, who spoke both in English and Hausa language said they wouldn’t fail to remind Nigerians of their achievements.
“We will keep reminding Nigerians about what we have done, how we met the country, what we were able to do from the time we came in to now with the resources available to us.”
