The newly elected governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi has been sworn in as the governor of the state along side his deputy, Bisi Egbeyemi.
The swearing in which took place today in Ado-Ekiti had in attendance members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) including the former National Chairman, John Oyegun.
Fayemi, during the swearing-in promised the citizens of the state transparency and accountability throughout his tenure as the state governor.
Speaking during his inauguration, Fayemi said he was ready to take the state to greater heights, adding that his agenda is to transform the state in the areas of agriculture, tourism, infrastructure and education.
He did not leave out the health sector, as he promised to provide quality health care to the people especially the aged.
Finally the new governor solicited for the support of the state citizens so as to achieve all of this in his administration.
Meanwhile it was reported that Ayodele Fayose, now former governor of Ekiti State has reported to EFCC for probing.
