President Muhammadu Buhari will be leaving the country to Katowice, Poland on Saturday.

 

The president’s Special Adviser and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina disclosed this on Friday.

 

Adesina said that Buhari will be in Poland to attend the 24th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP24) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

It takes place from December 2-4, 2018.

 

Meanwhile the president on Thursday, November 29, arrived from N’Djamena, Chad where he reportedly renewed call for quick interventions and measures to curb the menace of Boko Haram insurgency in the Lake Chad Basin.

Buhari made the appeal at a one-day consultation with Heads of State and Governments of the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC).
