The former governor of Ekiti State Chief Ayodele Peter Fayose commends president Muhammadu Buhari for honouring his kinsmen and father of democracy in Nigeria Chief MKO Abiola as the winner of June 12 presidential election in 1993, and renaming of the National Stadium, Abuja as Moshood Abiola National Stadium in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.
According to the embattled governor who wrote on his official twitter handle @GovAyofayose, president Buhari shamed Obasanjo.
He maintained that Obasanjo, who’s the greatest beneficiary of the June 12, 1993 struggle, failed to honour his kinsman, MKO Abiola. So, I commend President Buhari for courage.
